House Meetings

The Fosse Association has the dual purpose of organising social events to foster the school’s family ethos, as well as coordinating fund raising activities for the benefit of the school.
We have plans for a number of exciting events over the coming year. The current dates for forthcoming events are:
Fosse Association meetings:
More information will follow on these and other events, which will of course include favourites such as the summer camp-over.
The focus for fundraising in the forthcoming academic year is providing ICT equipment for all children in the school. We hope to raise funds to replace the existing computers in the ICT suite and upgrade the software. In addition we would like to purchase a secure moveable bank of laptops that will enhance the cross-curricular teaching of ICT throughout the school. Any other funds raised will be used to purchase e-book readers and e-books for the children to use in our wonderful new school library. With this in mind, if any parent has contacts in ICT which might enable us to take advantage of a discount, please let me know.
Your class reps for each year group are responsible for disseminating information about Fosse Association events and activities and for representing their classes at the Fosse Association meetings. They also coordinate the class’s contributions to Fosse Association events, such as the Christmas and Summer Fairs. Everyone is great at pulling together at these events to make them a success. Any help you can provide will always be greatly appreciated.
The Fosse Association meets over a coffee on the first Wednesday of the first full week of each half term at 9am in either the music room or the main hall. All parents as members of the Association are welcome to join these meetings. We would be delighted if you are able to contribute to the discussion and possibly offer help to the committee.
Yours sincerely
Mark Waddington
Chairman, the Fosse Association
