Houses

Each child who joins Fosse is part of one of our four Houses, Chartwell, Hever, Penshurst or Scotney. Informal meetings of House members are held fortnightly to motivate friends, develop team spirit, encourage exemplary behaviour and to work together.

The children really enjoy the chance to mix with different year groups and share their ideas for earning more Merit Points!  Each House elects a Year 6 pupil to be House Captain and a Year 6 pupil to be Sports Captain.  These Captains will represent them, collect merits and organise Interhouse sports teams.

Throughout the year, there are interhouse sports and at Sports Day, the children collect points towards their House and one House wins the Sports Cup. 

The Houses also work to raise money for charity - this term Hever are supporting Genes for Jeans.  They will be asking all the pupils to pay £1 and wear jeans for the day.
