France report 2012 - day 2

We made it through the first night! However, there were some tired faces this morning - including the teachers! All children slept well with some joining Mr Broad on a sunrise 3 mile run around Rue and the local ponds. The weather cleared mid-morning to reveal a another gorgeous sunny day in France. The children have tried their hand at Fencing and archery this morning with the afternoon spent on the infamous Château du Broutel obstacle course. The rest of the afternoon was spent in the sun, on the lake!! Not a dry child in sight! Everyone had a great time. The children are also getting used to room inspections with no one escaping the shower or cleaning their teeth. They have also discovered the beach volleyball court and are enjoying spending their spare time playing pairs volleyball, with everyone being included and getting on well with each other. Another exciting day ahead tomorrow as we go on a tour of Rue with more adventurous activities in the afternoon. More to come tomorrow!!
