History

Fosse Bank School was founded in 1892 by Madame Vetterli King as a private boarding and day school for girls in the High Street in Tonbridge.

The school moved to Quarry Hill in 1938, and to Coldharbour Lane in Hildenborough in 1994 as Fosse Bank New School. The school became a primary school for boys and girls aged 3 to 11 years and remains so to this day.

Mountains Country House in Hildenborough became a permanent home for Fosse Bank School in February 2004. This beautiful Grade II listed building is surrounded by 26 acres of parklands.

The children benefit from a hall/dance studio with sprung floor, three tennis courts, a sports hall, a heated indoor swimming pool and an adventure play area. The building provides eight large classrooms and a new ICT suite.
