The Mountains Events Team

As a parent and particularly if you are new to the school, you may have wondered who operates within the Mountains team and what they do?

There is a small team operating the events business.  The Event Managers, Shirley Spencer and Jenny Aylett work from their homes during the week and operate the events at weekends and during school holidays on site.  It is important that the events do not impact on school life, so, in the early hours of a Saturday morning the building is transformed into a wedding or party venue, and then everything is put back on a Sunday evening. 

Helen Tinworth, is also a very important asset to the Mountains team and provides floral and party decorations in the house, marquee and gazebo, as well as being a Duty Manager.  You may have seen how Helen can transform the gazebo into a beautiful wedding ceremony area with swagging and ivy. 

Dave and Harry are the gardeners who visit every Saturday to cut and stripe the lawns in readiness for a wedding or event.  You will also notice the beautiful tidy flower beds which have been recently stocked by Emmet Hannan and now form a structured frame to the beautiful Victorian house.

Dan is the Bar Manager and works tirelessly to stock up the bar, organise wine tastings and is on hand to offer any advice about drinks for weddings and events.  Behind the scenes, we have Karen and Nicki in the accounts office in Detling who look after Emmet and handle all of the finance.
