On Thursday 15th November 2012 we held our first Year 4 class assembly. On a grey autumn day our assembly was all about light. We hope you liked our class collage of a huge light bulb.
It's amazing how important light is in so many religions and in everyone's lives the world over. Thank-you to our volunteer from Reception who drove the car so well and obeyed the traffic lights.Who will ever forget the candle lighting?!!!
On Thursday Year 4 held their second class assembly of the year. We enjoyed learning about the first landing on the moon in July 1969. Did you sing along to 'Walking on the Moon'? Who can remember which fruit we used to represent the Earth, to demonstrate how small our planet actually is compared to the others in our Solar System? Thank-you Mrs Dench and Phoenix Club for our lovely 'Eagle' landing module.
Our final class assembly of the year will be on Thursday 16th May. We look forward to seeing you there.
